East Ave Cross Country 2024

Fantastic News! and a request from your coach!
Our East ave cross country team had a very successful final meet Friday, October 18th with medals won, top ten finishes, and personal records set. Our team awards are on Wednesday, October 23rd from 2:30-3:00. Students must bring their uniform to return in a bag with their name on the bag to the office or the awards.

Friday October 18 Final Meet at East arrive by 2:45pm, Medal
ceremony at end of meet
Wednesday October 23 Team awards in multipurpose room 2:30-3:00pm
BRING YOUR EAST UNIFORM Potluck snacks

We have 2 meets left in our season. The final meet at East will have medals for
the top 3 overall finishers in each of 6 groups. There will be a quick medal
ceremony after the completion of the meet. After our final meet October 18 th ,
East is having a Fall festival starting at 6pm. Please feel free to stay and enjoy.
The East Ave/Junction awards ceremony is a brief acknowledgement of our
athletes. It is ½ hour, bring a snack to share and East athletes must bring their
uniform to turn in.

Arrive by 2:45pm, bring water, wear your uniform top and any blue or black
shorts.

Practices:
Monday, Wednesday, Friday 2:45-3:45pm at East

Athletes will need a school district physical form completed by
a doctor and a 2.0 gpa to make the team. Shorts, running shoes,
and water is needed for practices and meets. We practice
behind the school and meets are at East Ave and other
Livermore Middle schools. Typical distances are 1 to 1.75 miles.
